The Olewine (Olwein,
Olhwime, Ohlwein, etc.) Family of Pennsylvania
I am trying to find verification on the family of Johann
George Olewine, b. 06 Oct 1766 & d. 15 Jan 1832. He is buried
in the St. John's Cemetery, Lower Towamensing Twp., Carbon County, PA along
with his wife, Maria Susanna Erdman. I believe that Johan George's parents
were Andrew (Andreas) & Elizabeth Olewine. I also believe that Andrew
Olewine's parents were Johann Yost & Anna Eve Olewine who lived in what
is now Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County, PA. Johan Yost Olewine
immigrated to the USA with his wife & 3 children on 18 Sep 1733 on the
Ship Pennsylvania Merchant, of London, which landed in Philadelphia, PA.

Unknown Photos - Can You Help Identify These People?
These photos are probably anscestors of Robert M. Peters, son of Robert Johnson
Peters, of the Dewalt/Theobold Peter line of Lehigh County, PA
There is also a possibility that they are pictures of the anscestors of Henry
Edward Peters, son of Herbert George Peters of the Casper Peter line of
Lehigh County, PA
