Pettit's in New
Jersey
I am trying to find any information on the Pettit's listed
in the 1830 Census Records of Hamilton Township, Gloucester County, NJ.
Listed on this page is a Samuel Pettit (b. bet. 1771 & 1780), a
Michael Pettit (b. bet. 1801 & 1810) and a Jacob Pettit (b. bet. 1801
& 1810). In the 1840 Census of Hamilton Township, Altlantic County,
NJ there is listed a Samuel Petit (b. bet. 1771 & 1780) and a
Michael Petit (b. bet. 1801 & 1810). I am trying to connect these Pettit's
to my line in Pennsylvania. I believe that the Michael
Pettit named above may be my Michael Pettit b. Abt. 27 May 1799 in Atlantic
County, NJ and that Samuel Pettit may possibly be
his father. Also, the Jacob Pettit may be Michael's brother.

Unknown Photos - Can You Help Identify These People?
These photos are probably anscestors of Robert M. Peters, son of Robert Johnson
Peters, of the Dewalt/Theobold Peter line of Lehigh County, PA
There is also a possibility that they are pictures of the anscestors of Henry
Edward Peters, son of Herbert George Peters of the Casper Peter line of
Lehigh County, PA
