FAMILY OF NICHOLAUS & ANNA MARGARETHA

     Nicholaus Grammes was born between 1750 & 1755. I am not sure where.  He may possibly have been the son of Johann Adam Grammes, however I have found no proof of this yet.  He married Anna Margaretha Warmkessel who was born in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA August of 1757. Her parents were Michael Warmkessel and Maria Ursula unknown. Nicholaus & Anna Margaretha had the following children: Peter; Heinrich; Susanna; Elisabetha; Margaretha and Catharina.
     Peter Grammes was born in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA on Feb. 15, 1782. He was a farmer and owned a farm in Upper Macungie Township. He married Maria Barbara Marks who was born Feb. 02, 1781 and died Sept. 04, 1858. Peter & Maria Barbara had the following children: Polly Ann; Judith Ann; Jonas; Aaron; Asa Peter and Anna. Peter died Feb. 09, 1861 in Upper Macungie Township. Both Peter and Maria Barbara are buried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, Upper Magungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA.
     Heinrich Grammes was born January 05, 1784 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died April 09, 1824 in Lehigh County, PA. He married Elisabeth Unknown and had the following children: George (b. May 05, 1805); David (b. Oct. 27, 1807); Benjamin (b. Oct. 01, 1809); Elisabeth (b. Aug. 11, 1811); Maria (b. May 07, 1813); Heinrich (b. Mar 11, 1821) and Catharina (b. Feb 26, 1823 - d. May 20, 1824).
     Susanna Grammes was born July 22, 1786 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  On Oct. 05, 1806 in Macungie, Lehigh County, PA, she married Philip Haas who was born in Sept. 10, 1782 and died in Nov. 14, 1862. His father was John Haas.  Susanna & Philip had the following children: John; Nancy; Maria; Katherine; Mary; Lydia; Sallie; Eliza; Susan and Peter.  Susanna died March 14, 1863 in Lower Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA and she & Philip are buried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, Upper Magungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA.
     Elisabetha Grammes was born April 1, 1789 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Margaretha Grammes was born January 15, 1893 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died Sep. 23, 1865. She married Heinrich Kuntz who was born Mar 10, 1787 and died Oct 27, 1864. Margaretha is buried in the Jordan Lutheran Church Cemetery, S. Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA.
     Catharina Grammes was born September 30, 1795 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. I haven't any other information on her yet.

FAMILY OF PETER & MARIA BARBARA

     Polly Ann (Maria) Grammes was born about 1805 in Upper Magungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. She married Daniel Ludwig on 27 Feb 1825 in Macungie, Lehigh County, PA.   I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Judith Ann Grammes was born Oct. 31, 1807 in Upper Magungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. and died Sept. 13, 1890.  She married Samuel Fetterolf, who was born July 12, 1808 and died Oct. 17, 1884.   They had the following children: Maria; Samuel Behm; Eliza; Sarah A.; Peter; Rebecca; and Susan.   Judith and Samuel are buried in the Bindnagles Church Graveyard in Lancaster County, PA.
     Jonas Grammes was born September 18, 1809 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. He took over the farm for his father Peter. In 1833 he married Hannah Koch, the daughter of John Koch. She was born March 14, 1815 and died March 10, 1892. Jonas & Hannah had the following children: Amanda; Edwin; Peter; William; Jeremiah; Rose A.; Paulina and Martha A.. Jonas died June 19, 1889 in Upper Magungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. Jonas & Hannah are burried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.
     Aaron Grammes was born December 17, 1811 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. He owned and ran a farm which joined the Grammes farm run by Jonas. He married Fayetta Bortz who was born August 9, 1810 and died December 12, 1882. Aaron & Fayetta had the following children: Tilghman; Ellimina; Simon and Gideon. There may have been others. Aaron died January 01, 1883 in Upper Magungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. Aaron & Fayetta are burried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.
     Asa Peter Grammes was born June 30, 1814 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. He lived near Allentown, probably in South Whitehall Township. Prior to that he lived in Heidelberg Twp, Lehigh County, PA. He married Susannah Mosser the daughter of Abraham Mosser & Catharina Snyder on March 19, 1840 in the Ebenezer Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, Lynn Twp., Lehigh County, PA. She was born June 13, 1820 and died April 19, 1895. Asa & Susannah had the following children: Sarah Ann; Mary Ann E.; Lewis F.; Asa Peter Jr.; Ellen N.; Amelia S.; Tevillia. Asa Peter died May 30, 1903. Asa & Susannah are buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.
     Anna Grammes was born about 1816 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. She married Jonathan Blank and moved to Illinois.  They had three children that I know of: Anna L. (b. abt. 1841); Henry (b. abt 1844); and Catelina, b. 31 Jul 1851 and d. 04 Oct 1852.  I haven't any other information on her yet.

 

FAMILY OF HEINRICH & ELISABETH

     George Grammes was born May 05, 1805 Lehigh County, PA.  He married Susanna Acker, born about 1806, on 25 Dec 1824.  They had the following children: David;  Louis;  Fianna;  and Geroge.  There may have been others.
     David Grammes was born Oct. 27, 1807 in Lehigh County, PA.  He married Salome Handwerk in 1828.  Salome was born about 1809.   I have no children for them, although I know they did have issue.
     Benjamin Grammes was born Oct. 01, 1809 in Lehigh County, PA.  I haven't any other information on him yet.
     Elisabeth Grammes was born Aug. 11, 1811 in Lehigh County, PA.  I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Maria Grammes was born May 07, 1813 in Lehigh County, PA.  I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Heinrich Grammes was born Mar 11, 1821 in Lehigh County, PA.  He married Lydia Schmidt on Aug. 22, 1841.  Lydia was born on Mar 7, 1806.  Lydia was previously married to an Unknown Bittner.  I haven't any other information on him yet.
     Catharina Grammes was born Feb 26, 1823 in Lehigh County, PA and died May 20, 1824 in Lehigh County, PA.

FAMILY OF JONAS & HANNAH

     Amanda Grammes, the daughter of Jonas & Hannah, was born 05 Mar 1835 in Upper Magungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died 06 Aug 1926 in Lehigh County, PA.  She married James Marks who was born 11 Dec 1832 and died 01 Aug 1868.  James was the son of John Marcks and Anna Newhard.  Amanda and James had one child that I know of: Anna Matilda (b. 28 Oct 1867 in Lehigh County, PA).  Amanda and James are buried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.
     Edwin Grammes was born December 08, 1837 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  He married Elamena L. A. Sterner who was born February 18, 1845 and died May 13, 1917. Edwin & Elamena had the following children that I know of: B. Franklin; Elmer F. E.; Ida R.; Laura; and Samuel E.. There are probably more. Edwin died November 07, 1913. Edwin & Elamena are burried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.
     Peter Grammes was born April 13, 1839 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died March 09, 1919 in Upper Magungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. Peter never married. He is burried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.
     William Grammes was born September 08, 1842 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died July 03, 1916 in Lehigh County, PA. He married the daughter of Dewald Kuhns in 1884, Rosa Kuhns, who was born Nov. 13, 1849 and died Jan. 29, 1943. William & Rosa had the following children: Wilman J.; Clinton D.; Edgar E.; Milton M.; Ralph W.; Arthur P. and Emma R.. William & Rosa are buried in the Jordan Lutheran Church Cemetery, Orefield, Lehigh County, PA.
     Jeremiah Grammes was born April 14, 1847 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. He took over the farm from his father, Jonas. He married Mary A. Marks, the daughter of Jesse Marks and Mary Walbert. She was born September 15, 1853 and died June 20, 1922. Jeremiah & Mary had the following children: Albert J.; Carrie; Elsie; Harry P.; Edna B. and Eva A. R.. Jeremiah died May 13, 1921 in Upper Magungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. Jeremiah & Mary are burried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.
     Rose A. Grammes was born about 1852 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. She married Frank Rabenold. I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Paulina Grammes was born March 03, 1858 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. She married William Oscar Lichtenwalner February 25, 1884. William was born October 18, 1860. Paulina & William had the following children that I know of: Mary M.; Ada G.; William J. and Florence P.. Paulina died sometime after 1914.
     Martha A. Grammes was born April 14, 1860 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. She married Albert Christian Unger who was born November 06, 1853 and died May 21, 1923. Martha & Albert had the following children that I know of: Eva Martha and Thomas Jonas. There were probably others. Martha died June 20, 1907. Martha & Albert are burried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.

FAMILY OF AARON & LUCETTA

     Tilghman Grammes, the son of Aaron Grammes, was born August 01, 1835 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  He married Lucetta Steininger who was born May 27, 1839 and died March 22, 1927, the daughter of Leonard Steininger and Catherine Kuhns.  Tilghman & Lucetta had the following children that I know of: Eli J.; Ellen Jane; Harvey M. T.; and Anna.  There were probably others.  Tilghman died January 4, 1904. Tilghman & Lucetta are burried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.
     Ellimina Grammes was born in 1839 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  She married Abraham Jonas Kemmerer who was born 18 Feb 1834.  I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Simon Grammes was born August 21, 1840 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  He married Jane Amanda Schmoyer, the daughter of Thomas Schmeyer and Lydia David. She was born July 27, 1848 and died June 17, 1922. Simon & Jane had the following children that I know of: Ellen M.; William Wilson; Milton Edwin; Mervin Thomas A.; Clinton M.; Stella Lydia Fietta; Fred E. and unknown female. Fred E. and the unknown female were twins. Simon died November 03, 1919.  Simon & Jane are burried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.
     Gideon Grammes was born August 09, 1842 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  He married Amanda R. unknown.  She was born November 13, 1845 and died September 15, 1915.  Gideon & Amanda had only one child that I know of: Ida F. S. (b. 16 Dec 1872). Gideon died July 4, 1918. Gideon & Amanda are burried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.

FAMILY OF ASA PETER & SUSANNAH

     Sarah Ann Elizabeth Grammes was born January 21, 1841 in Heidelberg Twp, Lehigh County, PA. She died September 13, 1842 in Heidelberg Twp, Lehigh County, PA.
     Mary Ann E. Grammes was born in April 11, 1843 in Heidelberg Twp, Lehigh County, PA and died Jan. 16, 1901.  She married Henry T. Kleckner who was born June 23, 1833 and died Aug. 21, 1919 and had one child that I know of: Alice E. M.   Mary & Henry are buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA
     Lewis F. Grammes was born January 30, 1845 in Heidelberg Twp, Lehigh County, PA.  He married Eliza Jane Weber the daughter of George Weber and Elizabeth Gantzhorne. She was born December 03, 1851 and died December 14, 1923 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA. Lewis and Eliza had the following children: Harry A.; Charles William; J. Frank; Elizabeth Marguerite; Lewis G.; Allen Grover and Hellen S..  Lewis established the company of L.F. Grammes & Sons in Allentown which employed many of the Allentown area residents until the late 1960's.  Lewis died April 26, 1911 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  Lewis & Eliza are buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.
     Asa Peter Grammes Jr. was born September 27, 1847 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  He married Alavesta Margurite Moll, the daughter of Peter Moll and Rebecca Huntsburger.  She was born July 14, 1854 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA and died December 30, 1925 in Coopersburg, Lehigh County, PA.  Asa & Alavesta had the following children: George Peter; Sally Elizabeth; Robert Asa; Annie Estella; Byron Stanton; Walter T.; Eliza Rebecca; Alvesta; Leroy Moll and Emma Amelia. Asa Peter died March 01, 1939 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  Asa & Alavesta are buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.
     Ellen J. Grammes was born Feb. 16, 1850 and died Oct. 05, 1934.  She married Nicholas Colle who was born Nov. 13, 1839 and died April 28, 1901 and had the following children that I know of: T. Bertha.  Ellen & Nicholas are buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.
     Amelia S. Grammes was born October 31, 1851 in Shantz's Spring, Upper Magungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  She never married.  She died November 25, 1936 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.
     Tevillia Grammes was born May 03, 1854 in Shantz's Spring, Upper Magungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. She never married.  She died January 03, 1938 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.

FAMILY OF LEWIS F. & ELIZA JANE

     Harry Asa Grammes was born Dec. 06, 1868 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA. and died Jan 16, 1922 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  He married Hattie Blanche Horne, the daughter of the Rev. Dr. Abraham R. Horne & Jemima Yerkes.  Hattie was born Oct 28, 1873 and died May 24, 1947 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.   Harry & Hattie had the following chilfren that I know of:  Blanche; June; Lucille Horne; Louise F.; Harriet; Jemima; and Harry Asa Jr. Harry & Hattie are buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.
     Charles William Grammes was born Oct. 18, 1870 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA and died May 07, 1948 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  He married Mamie Ann (Mary Jane) Strauss, the daughter of Thomas Strauss and Isabella Weiler.  Mamie was born Sept. 27, 1870 and died Aug. 01, 1951 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  Charles & Mamie had the following child:  Richard Strauss Grammes.
     J. Frank Grammes was born Dec. 14, 1871 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA and died Nov. 18, 1948 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  He married Emma E. Bigley, the daughter of Jacob Bigley and Martha Remmel.  Emma was born Sept. 18, 1874 and died May 15, 1947 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.   I haven't any children for J. Frank & Emma.   They are buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.
     Elizabeth Marguerite Grammes was born May 28, 1873 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA and died Jun 04, 1873 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.   I haven't any other information on Elizabeth.
     Lewis G. Grammes was born about 1880.  He married Bettie Young who was born about 1885.  Lewis & Bettie had the following children that I know of: Lloyd E.; Lewis; Robert C.; John (Jack) A.; Richard and Elizabeth.
     Allen Grover Grammes was born Jan. 04, 1885 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA and died Oct. 12, 1885 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.   He is buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.
     Helen S. Grammes was born Oct. 31, 1887 and died in May 13, 1978.  She married Louis C. LaBarre who was born Aug. 10, 1883 and died Nov. 19, 1955.  Helen & Louis are buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA

FAMILY OF JEREMIAH & MARY

     Carrie H. M. Grammes was born about 1880.  On 25 Apr 1907 she married Charles H. Boyer.  I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Edna Barbara Grammes was born about 1890 in Lehigh County, PA.
     Elsie V. Grammes was born about 1881.  In 1904 she married Oliver Fenstermacher.  I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Eva A. R. Grammes was born about 1893 in Lehigh County, PA.  On 28 Apr 1917 she married Daniel J. Schaffer.   I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Albert Jesse Jones Grammes was born September 16, 1878 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  He married Mary M. Fink who was born February 07, 1883 and died June 7, 1955.  Albert & Mary had the following children that I know of: Arlan J.; Lester A.; Marie Emma; Mark Elmer,; Grace E. E. and Charles J..  Albert died August 12, 1938.
     Harry P. Grammes was born August 07, 1882 in Trexlertown, Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA. He married Susanna Coppersmith who was born December 04, 1891 and died in August of 1972. Harry & Susanna had the following children that I know of: Arleen M; Mae E. and Jesse H.. There were probably others. I do not have a death date for Harry.

FAMILY OF TILGHMAN & LUCETTA

     Harvey M. T. Grammes was born Dec. 12, 1861 in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, PA and died Aug. 30, 1942 in Lehigh County, PA.   He married Emma M. A. Reinhard who was born May 20, 1873 and died Oct. 23, 1961 in Lehigh County, PA.  Harvey and Emma had the following children that I know of: Anna E.; and Elda G..  Harvey and Emma are buried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, Lehigh County, PA.
     Ellen Jane S. Grammes was born Aug 20, 1863 in Lehigh County, PA and died Mar 30, 1875 in Lehigh County, PA.
     Annie F. C. Grammes was born in 1869.   She married Harry Kern in April of 1896.  I haven't any other information on her.
     Eli J. Grammes was born in 1869.   I haven't any other information on her.

FAMILY OF SAMUEL EDWIN AND MARY KATHERINE

     Franklin Edwin Grammes was born Sept. 04, 1907 and died in July of 1982. He married Lucille A. Scholl who was born July 04, 1909 and died Nov. 27, 1997 in Weatherwood, Weatherly, Carbon County, PA.   Franklin and Lucille had the following children: Elda L.; Helen M.; Betty I.; Doris J.; and Donald F..
     Perma E. Grammes was born in 1905 in Lehigh County, PA.  She married George H. E. Dorney, the son of William H. Dorney and Sallie Diehl.  Perma and George had the following children: Lorraine D.; Robert S.; George F.; Herbert A.; Joyce A.; Mae I.; and William H..  Perma died in 1963 and is buried along with George in the Cedar Church Cemetery, Citronia, Lehigh County, PA.

FAMILY OF FRANKLIN EDWIN AND LUCILLE A.

     Helen M. Grammes was born Nov. 12, 1929. She married an Stanley Fenstermaker. Helen and Stanley have 2 children: Thomas S. and Gary.
     Elda L. Grammes was born July 19, 1928 and married Kenneth Gruber.  Elda and Kenneth have 2 children: Joan M. and Ricki K.
     Betty I. Grammes was born Nov. 13, 1939. She married Larry Kates.  Betty and Larry have 2 children: David and John
     Doris J. Grammes was born Dec. 23, 1935 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA and died April 10, 1988 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA. She married Stephen J. Gossman who was born Dec. 20, 1936 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA and died July 20, 1986 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA. Doris & Stephen had the following children: Barry W.; Perry M.; Pamela J.; and Tami J..
     Donald F. Grammes was born Sept. 19, 1949 and died in March of 1986 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.

FAMILY OF SIMON & JANE AMANDA

     Ellen Mantana Grammes was born on 25 Aug 1866 and died on 10 Sep 1866.
     William Wilson Grammes was born October 17, 1867 and died September 21, 1936.  He is buried burried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.  I haven't any other information on him yet.
     Milton Edwin Grammes was born in 1869.  He married Grace W. Unknown.  I haven't any other information on him yet.
     Mervin Thomas A. Grammes was born March 16, 1877.  He married Emma M. Weiss who was born October 19, 1874 and died January 07, 1943.  Mervin & Emma had the following children that I know of: Mabel H. J.; Victor George; Mahlon Tilghman Arthur; E. LeRoy; and Raymond W..  There were probably others. Mervin died June 25, 1954. Mervin & Emma are burried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.
     Clinton M. Grammes was born in 1882 in Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died in 1960. In 1902 he married Katie M. V. Henninger who was born in 1885 and died in 1949.  Clinton & Katie had the following children that I know of: Ernest C; Archie E. S; and Stanley Elton. There were probably others.
     Stella Lydia Fietta Grammes was born in 1887 in Lehigh County, PA.  In 1914 she married George R. Trump and had one child that I know of; Pearl M. Trump.  I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Fred E. Grammes was born July 13, 1888 and died September 13, 1888.  He was the twin brother of an unknown female who died at birth. They are both buried in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA.

FAMILY OF ARCHIE E. S. AND MINNIE

     Archie E. S. Grammes was born July 10, 1903 and died May 07, 1981. He married Minnie S. C. Rauch who was born April 25, 1907.   Minnie was the daughter of Osville Rauch and Carrie Henry.   Archie & Minnie had only one child that I know of:
     Forrest A. Grammes was born Sept. 24, 1926 in Trexlertown, Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County, PA and died June 09, 1988 in Schnecksville, North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PA. He married three times: first to Ellen Fritzinger, with whom he had three children: Donald Forrest, Richard Allen and Karen Mae. He then married Virginia unknown who was born May 20, 1919 and died March 07, 1977 and in May of 1978 he married Pauline B. Bittner who was born in 1924.  Forrest is buried in St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Trexlertown, PA. Virginia is buried in the Union Cemetery, Slatington, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.

FAMILY OF WILLIAM & ROSA

     Wilman J. Grammes was born on 03 Aug 1875 in Krocksville, Upper Macungie Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died 23 Feb 1953 in Egypt, Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  On 26 Dec 1903 he married Edna M. Lichtenwalner, who was born July, 18, 1880 and died Aug. 31, 1925.  Wilman and Edna had the following children that I know of:   Clarence; Evelyn E.; and Catharine R. A.. Wilman and Edna are buried in Cedarville, PA.
     Clinton D. Grammes was born in 1876 in Stettlersville, Lehigh County, PA and died in 1961.  In 1900 he married Mary A. Bailey who was born in 1883 and died in 1960.      Edgar E. Grammes was born in 1879 and died Nov. 02, 1916.  In May of 1901 he married Luella L. Walbert who was born in 1878 and died June 17, 1957. Edgar & Luella had the following children: Grace Anna; Sadie Sybilla Rosian; Ellen Jane and Carolyn Luella. There were probably others. Edgar & Luella are buried in the Jordan Lutheran Church Cemetery, Orefield, Lehigh County, PA.
     Milton M. Grammes was born July 26, 1881 and died Sept. 07, 1969 Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  On 22 Feb 1904 he married Anna M. M. Rabenold who was born Nov. 23, 1882 and died June 14, 1960.  I haven't any children for Milton & Anna. They are buried in the Jordan Lutheran Church Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.
     Ralph W. Grammes was born Jan. 05, 1887 and died April 20, 1952. On Dec. 24, 1909 he married Blanche Kuhns. Ralph & Blanche had the following two & only two children: Henry Ralph and Paul Ralph. Ralph W. Grammes is buried in the Jordan Lutheran Church Cemetery, Orefield, Lehigh County, PA.
     Arthur Peter Grammes was born Nov. 29, 1889 and died Dec. 20, 1979 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  He married Carrie M. Kuhns who was born Nov. 04, 1886 and died Aug. 08, 1983 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  Arthur was a Lutheran Pastor.  Arthur and Carrie are buried in the Jordan Lutheran Church Cemetery, Orefield, Lehigh County, PA.
     Emma Rosa Ann Grammes was born 21 Nov 1893 in Walberts, Lehigh County, PA.  On 05 Dec 1914 she married Edward M. Guth who was born about 1892.

FAMILY OF CLINTON D. & MARY

     Helen E. R. Grammes was born March 12, 1901 in Lowhill Township, Lehigh County, PA and died May 25, 1987 in Orefield, Lehigh County, PA. She married Clayton J. F. Kocher who was born July 24, 1896 and died July of 1977 in Orefield, Lehigh County, PA. I haven't any children for them.

     Grace Anna Grammes was born Dec. 21, 1912 married Marvin Sechler. I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Sadie Sybilla Rosian Grammes was born May 17, 1902 in Lehigh County, PA and died Nov. 12, 1986 in Schnecksville, Lehigh County, PA. She married Charles E. Clauser. Sadie and Charles had the following child that I know of, there probably were more: Milton E. who was born Nov. 30, 1924 and died in 1978.
     Ellen Jane Grammes was born May 20, 1907 in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pa and died September 30, 1986 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA. She married Paul R. Kressley who was born in 1893 and died 1954 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA. Ellen & Paul had the following children that I know of: Paul R. Jr.; Joyce and Kathryn.
     Carolyn Luella Grammes was born Sept. 28, 1916 and died June 14, 1917. Her burial record states that she died of inflamation of the bowels. She is buried in the Jordan Lutheran Church Cemetery, Orefield, Lehigh County, PA.

     Richard Strauss Grammes was born Nov. 20, 1902 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA and died Jan. 15, 1966 in Emmaus, Lehigh County, PA. He married Kathryn Brudnak, the dau. of Martin Brudnak and Anna Raynak.  Kathryn was born Oct. 16, 1912 in Cleveland, Ohio and died Mar 02, 2000 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.   Richard & Kathryn had the following children: Sandra G.; Richard S. Jr.; Mary G.; and Wendy K. Richard is buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA and Kathryn is buried in the Grandview Cemetery, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.

     Henry William Grammes was born Jan. 23, 1911 and died May 29, 1974. He married Emma J. Kressler who was born March 13, 1912 and died March 08, 1982. Henry & Emma are buried in the Jordan Lutheran Church Cemetery, Orefield, Lehigh County, PA.
     Paul Ralph Grammes was born March 12, 1917. He married Evelyn Snyder on August 17, 1940 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA . Paul & Evelyn had the following two and only two children: Thomas Paul and William.

     David Grammes the son of George and Susanna, was born in 1826, possibly in Luzerne County, PA.   He died July 21, 1868 in Lehigh County, PA.  On Dec. 25, 1845 he married Angelina [Juliann] Heffelfinger who was born Dec. 17, 1823 and died Oct. 04, 1907 in Rockdale, North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PA.  Angelina was the daughter of Peter Heffelfinger and Susanna Becker.   David and Angelina [Juliann] are buried in the Union Reformed Church Cemetery, Neffs, North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PA.  David & Angelina had the following children:
     Susanna Grammes who was born in 1847 in Lehigh County, PA.   On April 24, 1864 she married Samuel Leibold.  Susanna & Samuel had the following children that I know of:   Clara M.;  Victor;  Emmanuel;  Wilson S.;  Lewis H. J.;  Elias B. R.;  and Flory C..
     Fianna Grammes who was born June 10, 1949 in Lehigh County, PA and died Dec. 24, 1895 in Lehigh County, PA.  She married Henry Buss (Busz) who was born Mar. 07, 1831 and died Mar. 14, 1889.  Fianna & Henry had the following children: Milton Edmund; Clinton Thomas; Maria Jane; and William Charles.  Fianna & Henry Are buried in the Old Egypt Cemetery, Egypt, Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA
     Louis Henry Grammes was born Oct. 06, 1850 and died Dec. 06, 1852.  Louis is buried in the Union Reformed Church Cemetery, Neffs, North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PA.
     Sally Ann Grammes was born Nov. 10, 1852 in Lehigh County, PA and died Oct. 03, 1874.  On June 12, 1870 she married Moses Gangewere and had the following two children:  Sarah Hannah and Ellen Maria Kate Ann.  I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Peter George Grammes was born March 29, 1855 and died July 02, 1930 in Slatington, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA. He married Precilla R. Peter, the daughter of Thomas Peter and Salome Lentz, who was born April 23, 1859 and died Jan. 10, 1929.  Peter & Precilla had the following children: James E.; George D.; Cawley E.; Hattie S.; Thomas F.; Preston F.; Emma T.; Annie M.; Clara V.; and William J..  Peter & Precilla are buried in the Union Reformed Church Cemetery, Neffs, North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PA.
     Solomon Grammes was born Aug. 31, 1857 in Rockdale, North Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died Feb. 14, 1938 in Lehigh County, PA. He married Florianna M. Breyfogle, who was born Sept. 25, 1858 in Treichlers, Northampton County, PA and died Nov. 04, 1917 in Lehigh County, PA.  Florianna was the daughter of George Breyfogle & Susanna Becker.  Solomon and Florianna had 10 children of which I only know of six. They are: Benjamin Alexander; Ida Jane; Siegfried; Ellamina Rosa Ann; Jennie; and Elizabeth.  Solomon and Florianna are buried in the Friedens Church Cemetery, Friedens, Washington Twp., Lehigh County, PA
     David Albert (Oliver) Grammes was born Aug. 29, 1859 and died June 17, 1901.  He is buried in the Union Reformed Church Cemetery, Neffs, North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PA.   I haven't any other information on him yet.
     Amandus Grammes was born Feb. 03, 1862 and died Dec. 07, 1911 in Slatington, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.  In 1881 he married Sarah Jane Breyfogle who was born Oct. 16, 1866 in Treichlers, Lehigh Twp., Northampton County, PA and died July 05, 1943 in Slatington, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA. Sarah was the daughter of George Breyfogle & Susanna Becker.  Amandus & Sarah had the following children: Edwin A.; Daisy V.; Florence M.; Eva J,; Charles H.; George Albert; and Henry D., there may have been others.  Amandus & Sarah are buried in the Friedens Church Cemetery, Friedens, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.
     Juliann Helena Grammes was born April 21, 1864 and died in 1937 in Lehigh County, PA.  She married (1) Charles Newhard and (2) Preston A. Crauthamel who was born in 1863 and died in 1952.  Juliann & Charles had one child that I know of: Oliver C. Newhard (b. 02 Jun 1889).  Juliann & Preston had the following children that I know of: Henry C.;  Emma J.;  and Dora N..  Juliann & Preston are buried in the Friedens Church Cemetery, Friedens, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.
     Lydia Ann Grammes was born Dec. 14, 1866 and died March 27, 1940. She married Aaron Peters, the son of Heinrich Peter and Mary Rex, who was born Aug. 27, 1854 and died Oct. 20, 1931.  Lydia and Aaron had the following children that I know of: Lillian; William; and Infant.  Lydia & Aaron are buried in the Friedens Church Cemetery, Friedens, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.

     Cawley E. Grammes was born Dec. 22, 1882 in Slatington, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA and died Aug. 30, 1963 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA. He married Sarah J. Schellhammer the daughter of Lewis H. Schellhammer and Alice E. Schmidt.  Sarah was born Feb. 19, 1885 in New Tripoli, Lynn Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died Jan 26, 1963 in Fullerton, Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA. They had the following children that I know of: Infant; Lela Anna; and Arlene E.   Cawley & Sarah are buried in the Ebenezer Church Cemetery, New Tripoli, Lynn Twp., Lehigh County, PA.
     Thomas F. Grammes was born May 17, 1884 in Lehigh County, PA and died in 1955 in Lehigh County, PA.   He maried Emma T. Snyder who was born in 1885 and died in 1965. Thomas & Emma had the following children that I know of, there may have been others: Edna I.; Calvin F.; Leroy A.; Clarence C.; Minerva P.; Mabel V.; and Infant Grammes.   Thomas & Emma are buried in the Union Reformed Church Cemetery, Neffs, North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PA.
     Preston F. Grammes was born in 1886 and died 1960 in Topton, Berks County, PA. He was married on June 08, 1916 to Estella S. Hoffman who was born Oct. 27, 1888 and died January of 1975 in Topton, Berks County, PA.  Their marriage took place at the Union Reformed Church, Neffs, Lehigh County, PA.  Preston & Stella had the following children that I know of: Geraldine Lucille; and Alice Estella.  Estella was previously married to Daniel George and had the following children: Helen M.; Curtis H.  Preston & Stella are buried in the Union Church Cemetery, Neffs, Lehigh County, PA.
     Hattie S. Grammes was born May 04, 1889 and died in 1970.  She married Harvey Newhard who was born Aug. 24, 1887 and died Mar. 1964.  Hattie & Harvey had the following children: Eva Mae; Beatrice; Edwin Martin; Miriam Irene; Samuel George; Gertrude; Kathryn Irene; Kenneth; Matilda Alverta; Joseph Robert Sr.; Eleanor Jean Joyce; and Florence P..   Hattie and Harvey are buried in the Coplay Cemetery, Coplay, Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA.
     Emma T. Grammes was born Mar 28, 1894 in Slatington, Washington Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died in 1980.  She married Victor Hoffman who was born Jan. 13, 1893 and died August of 1983 in Brodheadsville, Monroe County, PA. Emma & Victor had the following children: Ella; Emma; Ernest P.; Helen; Margaret; Miriam; Stella; Warren F.; Clifford Charles; Herman A.; Preston John; Josephine Margaret; Richard Raymond; and Harold Paul. Emma & Victor are buried in the Union Cemetery, Neffs, Lehigh County, PA.
     Annie M. Grammes was born March 25, 1892 and died Aug. 01, 1892. She was the twin sister of Clara.
     Clara V. Grammes was born March 25, 1892 and died July 28, 1892. She was the twin sister of Annie.
     William J. Grammes was born July 28, 1899 in Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA and died Nov. 17, 1988 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA. He married Helen D. Muth who was born Aug 04, 1904 and died in April of 1981 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA. Helen was the daughter of Charles F. Muth & Annie M. Levan. I haven't any children for them.

FAMILY OF AMANDUS AND SARAH JANE

     Ewin A. Grammes was born in 1882 and died in 1942. He married Marietta Kunkle who was born about 1870 in Carbon County, PA and died Jan. 16, 1937 in Wilkes-Barre, Lackawana County, PA.  Edwin & Marietta had the following children that I know of: Gertrude L. and Pauline.  There were probably others.  Edwin is buried in the Friedens Church Cemetery, Friedens, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA and Marietta is buried in the Denison Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, Lackawana County, PA.
     Daisy Victoria Grammes was born in 1885 and died in 1890.  On 28 Aug 1890 she was buried in the Friedens Church Cemetery, Friedens, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.
     Florence May Grammes was born 05 Oct 1898 Slatington, Washington Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died in 1983.  On 18 Dec 1915 she married Oliver W. Krum.  I haven't any other info on Florence.
     Eva Jane Grammes was born July 16, 1890 in Slatington Lehigh County, PA and died in Dec. of 1980 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  She married Stanley Frederick, who was born May 12, 1889 and died in June of 1977.
     Charles Harrison Grammes was born Aug. 18, 1895 in Slatington, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA and died March 31, 1986 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  He married twice; first to Ella Tervilla Wanamaker who was born June 24, 1897 and died March 11, 1992 and then to Verna Wentz who was born March 19, 1904 and died Sept. 20, 1991.  Charles & Ella had only one child: Lester Amandus.  I haven't any children from his second marriage.  Charles is buried in the Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall, PA.
     George Albert Grammes was born in 12 Aug 1904 and died in 1905. He is buried in the Friedens Church Cemetery, Friedens, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.
     Henry David Grammes was born Jan. 22, 1906 in Slatington, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA and died in June of 1984 in Jim Thorpe, Carbon County, PA.  He married Agnes Andreas who was born in 1906 and died in 1956.  Henry & Agnes had only one child that I know of: Marie C.. Henry & Agnes are buried in the Friedens Church Cemetery, Friedens, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.

     Edna Irene Grammes was born Dec. 21, 1903 and died May 17, 1932.  She married Ellsworth Moll who was born March 23, 1892 and died June of 1963.
     Calvin Francis Grammes was born March 20, 1906 and died in July of 1973.  He is buried in the Union Cemetery, Neffs, Lehigh County, PA.
     Leroy Allen Grammes was born Aug. 24, 1910 and died November of 1980 in Schnecksville, North Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  On July 13, 1935 he married Ella G. Agats, the daughter of Fred Agats & Margaret Bouvier.  Ella was born Jun 28, 1911 in Philadelphia , PA and died July 20, 2000 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salibury Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  Leroy & Ella had one child that I know of; Beverly A..  Leroy and Ella are buried in the Union Cemetery, Neffs, Lehigh County, PA.
     Clarence Peter Charles Grammes was born Nov. 23, 1920 and died in June of 1976.  He married Nila E. Bros in 1945.
     Minerva Elemina Priscilla Grammes was born Feb. 20, 1923.  She married Robert Shaw.
     Mabel Verna Grammes was born Aug. 04, 1913 and died Jan 13, 1933 in Omrod Lehigh County, PA. She never married and on 23 Jan 1933 was buried in the Union Cemetery, Neffs, Lehigh County, PA.
     Infant Grammes was born Oct. 12, 1933.

     Eva Mae Newhard was born June 28, 1909.  She married Henry Frederick Moyer.
     Beatrice Newhard was born June 09, 1910.
     Edwin Martin Newhard was born Dec. 28, 1911 in Rockdale, North Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died July 10, 1991 in Schnecksville, North Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  He married Hilda May Stopp, who was born May 08, 1914 in North Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died Nov. 19, 1989 in Schnecksville, North Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  Edward and Hilda had the following children that I know of: Janice; Chaeles M.; and Robert G..
     Miriam Irene Newhard was born March 08, 1914.  She married Charles Herbert Oswald, who was born Feb. 23, 1913 in North Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, PA and died Jun 10, 1993 in Northampton, Northampton, County, PA.  Miriam and Charles hed the following children that I know of:  Barbara M..
     Samuel George Newhard was born Aug. 03, 1916 and died January of 1976 in Schnecksville, North Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  He married Christine A. Rauch.

     Kathryn Irene Newhard was born Nov. 18, 1919 and died July 10, 1998 in Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA.   She married Robert F. Moser.  Kathryn and Robert had the following children that I know of:  Franklin R.; and Dorothy.

     Florence P. Newhard was born May 20, 1923 in Coplay, North Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died Dec. 24, 1994 in Slatington, Washington Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  She married Raymond C. Oswald, who was born Dec. 24, 1923 in Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died Nov. 29, 1995 in Slatington, Washington Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  Florence and Raymond had the following children that I know of:  Priscilla; and Brenda.
     Matilda Alverta Newhard was born July 01, 1924 and died in March of 1972.  She married Edward Follweiler, who was born March 20, 1918.
     Joseph Robert Newhard was born Oct. 17, 1926 in Coplay, North Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA and died Mar 14, 1985 in Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, PA.  He married Mary M. Kline.   Joseph and Mary had the following children that I know of:  Joseph Robert Jr.; Donald J.; Douglas A.; and Elaine E..
     Eleanor Jean Joyce Newhard was born June 14, 1928.  She married Edward Keschel, who was born Feb 13, 1921.

Heffelfinger & Maisie Serfass, Ruby Ellen Heffelfinger who was born Oct. 25, 1921 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA and died May 26, 1974 in Slatington, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.  Lester & Ella had the following children: Brenda Jean; Jane Louise; Carol Ann; Susan Eileen; and Gregory Kieth.  Lester and Ella are buried in the Union Cemetery, Slatington, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.

     Ida Grammes was born in 1879 and married Oswald Frederick, who was born in 1871.  Ida and Oswald had the following children that I know of: Benjamin S.; Clara Mae; and Esther E.

     Ellamina Rosa Ann Grammes was born Jan. 1882 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA.  On May 28, 1898 she married Harrison H. Defrain, who was born Mar. 1874.  They had the folowing children: Unknown Female (died at childbirth); Oscar B.; Ida M.; Helen; Norma R.; Martha Eleanor; Geraldine Ruth; and two unknown children.
     Jennie E. Grammes was born Mar. 1889 and died in 1950.  On 01 Jan 1907 she married Lynn A. Kane who was born in 1885 and had the following children that I know of: Esther M.; Infant; and Allen L Kane.  Jennie is buried in the Union Cemetery, Slatington, Washington Twp., Lehigh County, PA.
     Annie Grammes was born 01 Mar 1890.  She was baptized 10 Mar 1890 at the Friedens Church.
     Lizzie Mable C. Grammes was born April 1893 in Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA and died in 1917.  On 16 Feb 1909 she married Herbert West, the son of Frank West and Annie Unknown, who was born in 1887 in Land Spring Run, Carbon County, PA.
     William HarryGrammes was born 18 May 1896 and died 08 Aug 1896.  He was baptized 21 Jun 1896 at the Friedens Church.  William was buried 12 Aug 1896 at ther Friedens Church Cemetery.
     Gertie Bertha Grammes was born 08 Apr 1899 and died 25 Jun 1899.  She was baptized 19 Apr 1899 at the Friedens Church.  Gertie was buried 28 Jun 1899 at the Friedens Church Cemetery.

He married twice; first to Beatrice Christman who was born March 06, 1903 and died in December of 1945 and then to Catherine S. Edwards who was born July 31, 1905 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA and died Dec. 08, 1993 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA. Arthur & Beatice had only one child: Carl Henry. Arthur and Catherine had three children: Lewis John; Arthur W. Jr.; and Austin K.. Arthur & Catherine are buried in the Friedens Church Cemetery, Friedens, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.
     Harry Edwin Grammes was born Nov. 28, 1902 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA and died Jan. 22, 1958 in the St. Lukes Hospital, Bethlehem, PA. He married the daughter of Charles Smith and Mary Elizabeth Huth, Minnie May Smith who was born April 25, 1900 in Easton, Northampton County, PA and died Sept. 20, 1974 in Hellertown, Northampton County, PA. Harry & Minne had the following children: Anna; Robert H.; Mary; Dorothy M.; Quilla; William O.; Esther C.; Edith Arlene; Harry Edwin Jr.; and Arthur Benjamin. Harry & Minnie are buried in the Schoenersville Cemetery.
     Albert Grammes was born Aug. 13, 1904 and died Aug. 15, 1904.
     Freddy Grammes was born Feb. 05, 1906 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA and died Feb. 18, 1906 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA.
     Mamie Viola Grammes was born Aug. 22, 1908 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA and died Jan. 07, 1909 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA.
     Anna M. Grammes was born Aug. 01, 1913 in Lehigh County, PA. She married William Cartwright who was born Nov. 05, 1905 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA and died May 12, 1983 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA. They had the following child: Mary Ann.
     Charles Grammes was born March 11, 1918 and died Sept. 07, 1918.

FAMILY OF ARTHUR W. AND BEATRICE

     Carl Henry Grammes was born Aug. 10, 1921 in Palmerton, Carbon County, PA and died June 18, 1982 in Warminster, Bucks County, PA. He married the daughter of Thomas F. Peters and Laura Bowen, Dorothy Eleanor Peters who was born Dec. 16, 1918 in Catasauqua, Lehigh County, PA. Carl & Dorothy had the following children: Doris; Dolores; Carl Henry Jr.; Shirley Ann; Richard Paul; Kenneth Robert; Diane Beverly; and Barbara. Carl is buried in the Whitemarsh Memorial Cemetery, Horsham, Montgomery County, PA.

FAMILY OF ARTHUR W. AND CATHERINE S.

     Lewis John Grammes was born July 11, 1926 in Slatington, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA and died Dec. 28, 1995 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA. He married Beatrice Diehl who was born Sept. 21, 1924 in Nothampton, Northampton County, PA and died May 02, 1991 in Hamburg, Berks County, PA. Lewis & Beatrice had the following childrren: Sharon Ann; Wanda; Lewis John Jr.; Yvonne C.; Barry Lee; and Dane Russell. Lewis is buried in the Union Cemetery, Slatington, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.
     Arthur W. Grammes Jr. was born April 30, 1935. He married Barbara Ann Heintzelman on May 24, 1958 at the St. Andrews Reformed Church, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA. They had one child: Marc.
     Austin K. Grammes was born in August 29, 1945. He married Linda L. Ahner who was born Feb. 18, 1947 in Northampton, Northampton County, PA and died Aug. 12, 1996 in Palmerton, Carbon County, PA. Austin and Linda had the following children: Steve Russell; Christopher; and Michael.

FAMILY OF HARRY EDWIN AND MINNIE MAY

     Anna Grammes was born April 28, 1925 in Petersville, Northampton County, PA.  She married three times: first to and Ralph Mensinger, then to Newton Pettit, and then to Kenneth Walck, born in 1921 & died July 18, 1998.  Anna had her first child out of wedlock: Dallas Robert Grammes. I haven't any other information on her yet.
     Robert H. Grammes was born Nov. 01, 1926 in Berlinsville, Lehigh Twp., Northampton County, PA and died Nov. 17, 1997 in Bethlehem, Northampton County, PA.  He married Doris Shankweiler, the daughter of Ralph F. Shankweiler and Hilda Heist.  Robert & Doris had the following children that I know of: Ronald B. and Kay L..
     Mary E. Grammes was born May 07, 1928 in Berlinsville, Lehigh Twp., Northampton County, PA and died May 23, 1999 in Slatington, Washington Township, Lehigh County, PA.  She married Walter Miller on Nov 27, 1947.  They had two children: Betty and Chip.
     Dorothy M. Grammes was born Dec, 26, 1929 in Berlinsville, Lehigh Twp., Northampton County, PA and died Sept. 26, 1995 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  She married four times: first to an William Hunsicker, then to Harold O. Tacker, next to an Leonard Sterling, and lastly to John O. Strohl.  Dorothy & Harold had three children: Paul; Barbara; and Linda.   Dorothy & Leonard Sterling had three children: David; Harry; and Alice. Dorothy & John had no children.
     Quilla Grammes was born Jan. 16, 1932 in in Berlinsville, Lehigh Twp., Northampton County, PA and died April 30, 2000.  On July 20, 1969 she married Raymond Frankenfield who was born April 13, 1909 and died in 1974.  They had three children: Linda; Joan; and Gail.
     William O. Grammes was born June 04, 1933 in Berlinsville, Lehigh Twp., Northampton County, PA and died Feb. 10, 1998 in Phillipsburg, NJ. He married Elizabeth Youpa, the daughter of John J. Youpa and Helen Skorupa.  William and Elizabeth had the following children that I know of: William; Susan M.; Julie; unknown Male; and unknown Male.
     Esther C. Grammes was born Oct. 18, 1934 in Berlinsville, Lehigh Twp., Northampton County, PA.  She married twice.  First to William E. Walters and then to Joseph Iovanna. Esther & William had the following children: Kurt D.; William E. Jr.; and Charles A..
     Edith Arlene Grammes was born Jan. 28, 1936 in Berlinsville, Lehigh Twp., Northampton County, PA and died June 05, 1999 in Walnutport, Northampton County, PA.  She married Robert Kromer Jr. who was born Sept. 16, 1930 in Rockdale, Northampton County, PA on Oct. 31, 1956.   Edith and Robert had the following children: Richard Robert; Shirley Ann; Robert W. Jr.; and Phillip David.
     Harry Edwin Grammes Jr. was born April 28, 1938 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA. He has not yet married.
     Arthur Benjamin Grammes was born March 20, 1941 in Northampton, Northampton County, PA and died Dec. 29, 1974 in Allentown, Lehigh County, PA.  He married Shirley Strohl.  They had the following children: Arthur Benjamin Jr. and Laura.
