Deceased

Last Tuesday evening at about 8 o'clock the Master of life and death liked to call the immortal soul of Friedrich Wilhelm Hucker, one of the editors of the "Northampton Correspondent" and of the "CENTINEL", into those better homes. He was a good son to his parents and they had got best proves of his childly love, which let them hope that he would once be a support to them growing older and older - alas the fate had decided otherwise. Let his will be! He was a loving and tender brother. Only his extraordinary well behaviour which he showed at this side of the grave and which flattened his way to a better life, is a little able to comfort his deeply distressed parents, sisters and brothers. During his frequent discussions with the preacher he often admitted being ready to exchange this mournful life with a better one, beyond the grave; and tenderly he crossed the border to paradise. He was 24 years and 5 months old. His disease was consumption. Last Friday morning at 10 o'clock his body without soul was given to the cool lap of mother earth with military ceremony of honor on the Lutheran cemetery.

What is the religious one's death?
But, end of all sorrows,
after overcome pain,
to be nearer to true luck.
You enjoy heaven's joy,
to be there before GOD's throne,
Until once on that meadow,
we enjoy together with you.
